Sierra Club Endorsement
Sierra Club, founded on May 28th, 1892, celebrates its 134th birthday tomorrow. In Illinois it began as the Great Lakes Chapter in 1959.
I am very proud to have this endorsement and be a member of such a worthy organization. After all, without our Dear Mother Earth, we have nothing.
I will continue my commitment to protecting our beautiful Northwestern Illinois for as long as I live.

I am honored and proud to receive this endorsement from the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local Union 150.
In the 1990s, I belonged to a union that negotiated a contract with a large corporation that I worked for, that was attempting to take away some of our hard-earned benefits.
All of us need to appreciate the important work that our unions do, all across Northern Illinois!

Illinois Education Association, IEA is the largest union in Illinois. I am honored to have their endorsement.
IEA is a union of more than 135,000 members composed of Illinois elementary and secondary teachers, higher education faculty and staff, educational support professionals, retired educators and college students preparing to become teachers.
The IEA was founded in 1853 to serve the interest of public education in Illinois. The IEA became an affiliate of the National Education Association in 1857, an organization currently totaling 3.2 million teachers and school employees working to make our good public schools even better for all students.
